Powered by Acrobatic Arts. The AcroDance Preschool Programme is aimed at young children, aged 3-5 years old.
The focus of this programme includes learning locomotive skills (skipping, galloping etc), balance skills, classroom behaviour skills, movement concepts, cooperation and social skills.
The Preschool programme has proven to benefit the development of young children; physically (fine & gross motor skills), mentally and artistically.
The classes comprise of multiple sections, i.e: Dance Technique (Jazz, Modern, Ballet, Hip Hop), acro skills, song and dance, flexibilty and most importantly strength. Students will gain body awareness which will help them build strength correctly, targeting the core, shoulders and arms.
What makes this programme unique is the repetition, the encouraging report cards, acro-related colouring in pages, imaginary play, fun and games.

This programme is available to any preschools in the Southern suburbs looking for a fun, new and different extra mural as well as at our UDA premises.

The preschool programme is run by Kirsty van Buuren. . Kirsty has been teaching Dance for 10 years and holds a BMus(Teaching) Degree from UCT. She is passionate about the growth and development of the next generation and believes that by empowering children with a strong body they are able to feel confident in their everyday life.Β
